The building of the Manchester Ship Canal

This video shows the construction of the Manchester Ship Canal. This video slide show is a tribute to Mr John Dobson of Canal Side Cottage, Bob's Bridge, Moore who was one of the few remaining navvies at the time he was interviewed in the 1960's, an audio of the interview is incorporated in this video.
